Frequently Asked Questions





Below are some questions that are often put to the Board or to the management company.  The details supporting the answers provided can typically be found within the condominium documents provided to each unit owner.

You are permitted to keep a pet, subject to the following conditions:

  • Your pet may weigh no more than 20 pounds.
  • Your pet may not be so noisy as to violate the rights and covenants your neighbors have with respect to the quiet use and enjoyment of their own unit and the common elements.
  • Your pet may not be an animal of a type that, if it were to get loose, could pose a danger to the community members or to the Association property.

When reviewing inquiries about a pet on the premises, the Board may make determinations as to what poses a danger.  The Board will make every effort to be fair, but will likely err on the side of caution in such instances.  While not a complete list of criteria, suffice it to say that anything poisonous, not up to date with its vaccinations, typically vicious, that could burrow/chew at, or slither into the building structure would not be deemed appropriate.
